Carton Manufacturing Process:

Pulp Preparation: Wood fibers are transformed into pulp through mechanical and chemical processes.

Paper Making: The pulp is formed into paper by passing it through heated rollers.

Carton Manufacturing: Multiple layers of paper are glued together to form the desired carton.

Cutting and Shaping: The carton is cut and shaped according to the required dimensions and specifications.

Printing: Logos and designs are printed onto the carton.

Types of Cartons

Corrugated Carton: This is the most common type and is widely used in packaging. It consists of at least two layers of linerboard with a corrugated medium layer that gives the carton strength and rigidity. The number of layers can vary, often being 3 layers, 5 layers, or 7 layers, depending on the product's requirements.

There are several types of corrugations:

E Flute: The smallest and lightest corrugation, used for small and lightweight packages.

B Flute: Medium-sized corrugation, used for packaging electronic products and food items.

C Flute: Large corrugation, used for packaging heavy products.

BC Flute: A combination of B and C flutes, offering greater strength and durability.

BE Flute: A combination of B and E flutes, providing a balance between strength and weight.

Solid carton Board: Composed of multiple layers of compressed linerboard, making it more rigid and durable than corrugated carton. It's used in the production of rigid boxes, dividers, and cards.

The variety of carton types caters to the diverse needs of consumers and industries, providing tailored packaging solutions for each product.
